INVASIVE SPECIES

Introduced species may not be as frightening as the thought of multi-headed aliens invading from another planet, but the damage these interlopers - animals, plants, and pathogens - do economically and ecologically is estimated to be in the hundreds of millions to billions of dollars each year.
